Ethical Hacking


Information Security: It means protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access use, disclosure, disruption, modification, persual, inspection, recording or destruction. The terms information security, computer security, and information assurance are interrelated often and share the common goals of protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Government, military, corporations, financial institutions, hospitals and businesses have a great deal of confidential information about their employees, customers, products, research and financial status. If these kind of information assets fall into the hands of competitor, such as breach of security could lead to lost business or even bankruptcy of the business. So in this case, there is requirement of IT Security professionals to protect the information or database of companies. The field of Information Security has grown in recent years. There are many ways of gaining entry into the field as a career. Ethical Hacking: It is also known as Penetration Testing. Computers around the world are systematically being victimized by hacking, so the attackers compromise a system, steal everything of value and completely erase their tracks. The goal of ethical hacker is to help the organization take preemptive measures against malicious attacks by attacking himself. To ensure that organization have adequately protected their database and valuable information assets, they must adopt the approach of 'defense in depth'. They must penetrate their networks and assets, to save their information from the hand of hackers. Ethical hackers is an individual who is usually employed with the organization and who can be trusted to undertake an attempt to penetrate networks and/or computer system using the same methods as a HACKERS.
